That's what most people will think when they get a sticker or business card pressed into their hands, or when they want to take a deep look in the bag somewhere at a rave in a toilet and suddenly see our logo.
We are Rave050, the rave/festial scene of the Northern Netherlands. We have an active whatsapp community where we discuss raves, festivals and possibly plan pre's and afters and just shittalk with people we were too far away at a rave for to be able to ask someone's socials.
Why a whatsapp group?
To create a stable and large community here in our town, so that people who go out, rave, or want to have a party somewhere also have a place to meet nice people.
We do this via whatsapp because many people already have the app on their phone, and use it on a daily basis. Everyone uses whatsapp and is familiar with it. That's where we have our chit-chat and where you can chat with fellow rave mates.
What else do we do?
At the moment we are trying to expand a bit, of course we are already doing this by promoting every time at a rave with stickers, business cards and posters/flyers. Feel free to help us with this of course!
Of course, there are many more ways. That's why we have a website, an instagram. A nice snap group where people can share photos and videos and we have a forum where you can share things about raves etc.
A forum? Can I sniff that?
No, we're not talking about that ugly thing that's near the Grand Place. Yes, we have set up a forum where you can share things about raves, for example reviews and experiences about a particular rave. You can also talk about experiences with drugs, talk about, for example, a bad trip you had.
Actually, you can't think of it that crazy, when it comes to raves/festivals and going out, it can be discussed there. Preferably, of course, a bit of the Northern Netherlands region.
